Maddie Mae Parker

Madison Mae Parker, a Texas based Performance Poet,

and Francesca Willow, UK based dancer/choreographer have teamed up to produce their poetry/dance collaboration entitled “One Thousand Promises“. Having impressed audiences across the USA with their alchemical and confrontational performances, they are now poised to

rock Brisbane’s world with their powerfully individualistic art.

Madison‘s poetry has been described as,

“a weird, loud holiness that fills the room”.

As well as writing and performing, Madison runs her own poetry gig

in Texas called Mic Check and amongst her many other activities,

has also been a director of the Texas Grand Slam Festival.

Always keen to encourage others to discover the “Power of the Pen”

she has also run a multitude of workshops on Poetry and Performance

related topics in recent years.

Meanwhile, a fan of the surreal, London based performer,

choreographer, dancer and writer Francesca states that

99% of the time her favourite hobby is,

dancing to someone’s words at a poetry slam”.

Accordingly, she has performed in a wide variety of venues, from the Wembley Arena and London’s renowned West End to Japan in the mysterious Far East.
